GIMP Tutorial – How to Add a Clipping Mask

Hi guys,

I’m here with a brand new tutorial on how to add a clipping mask in GIMP. Don’t forget to follow me blog and subscribe to my channel as well. Now, let’s get started.
1.) Create a new layer.

2.) Select your brush and place the brush wherever pleases you on the newly made layer.

3.) Move the layer under the image.

4.) Right Click –> Alpha to Selection.

5.) Move the layer under the image layer.

6.) Select your image layer, and go to the menu and click on Select –> Invert.

7.) Now, go to the menu and click on Edit –> Clear or press Delete on your keyboard.

8.) Go to the menu and click on Select –> None.
