Macintosh Tutorial – How To Force Quit (Stop Freezing Applications)

Hello,

Have you ever had your application freeze but just can’t stop it? Well, there is in fact a way to stop it by using the Force Quit option. Force Quit is just as how it sounds, it forces the application to quit. Let’s get started!

1.) When your application freezes, press Command –> Alt –> Esc. A window should pop up like this.

2.) Select your application that has froze. It’ll tell you by saying (Not Responding) next to the application.
3.) Click Force Quit.  A window should pop up asking you again and reminding you you’ll lose any unsaved changes. So, just click Force Quit again.

 Now, you’re finished! Enjoy!
